Constructing the Backstop - 2003
In 2003 it was decided that we should build a backstop to guard against arrows straying into the neighbouring farmer's field. The society managed to get a grant towards the cost of materials - all we had to provide was the labour! In November tons of timber were delivered and happy hours were spent painting with preservative, cutting to size, drilling and assembling the individual panels ready for assembly.
